Miguel Perez

Advanced-Professional Contemporary  

Miguel Perez started dancing at the age of 18 at the University of Arizona where he was fortunate enough to receive a 4-year scholarship for dance. He then went on to dance for both River North Dance Company and Hubbard Street 2 in Chicago. After making a change from concert to commercial dance Miguel moved to Las Vegas to dance for Celine Dion "A New Day" at Caesar's Palace. While living in Las Vegas Miguel also did some modeling and print work. He has filmed commercials for McDonalds and "What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas". Once the Celine Dion's show closed in Vegas Miguel went on Celine's World Tour "Taking Chances". After, Miguel moved to Los Angeles and made two work out videos for Hip Hop Abs and Dancing with the Stars. He has appeared on America's Got Talent as a backup dancer, SYTYCD and has danced with Leone Lewis on "Dancing with the Stars". Miguel toured with "Body Traffic" and was a featured dancer for Cirque Du Soleil's "Viva Elvis" and moved back to Las Vegas to become a cast member of Steve Wynn's "Showstoppers" through it's closing in 2017 at the Wynn Hotel. Miguel is continues to travel with his work as a master teacher and choreographer. He is currently a cast member of the "Donny and Marie Show' at the Flamingo Hilton. 

Jordan Mchenry

Contemporary Guest Teacher

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan McHenry, is an alumnus of The Colorado Jazz Dance Company, directed by Zetta Alderman. Jordan has trained internationally at programs including River North Chicago, Jacob’s Pillow, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance as well as Springboard Danse Montreal.  He is privileged to have performed repertory by King, Darrell Moultrie, Crystal Pite, Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Martha Graham and Ohad Naharin.  A graduate of The Ailey School/ Fordham University BFA program in New York City, he has performed in Ailey’s Memoria alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and danced in The Holland Dance Festival with The Ailey School. Other international performances include the Tramway Theater in Glasgow, Teatro Del Elfo in Milan and CODA Dance Festival in Oslo. Jordan’s professional credits include Montreal based companies EZDanza, Jose Navas/Company Flak and Cas Public. Jordan joined the cast of Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity in 2010. 
In 2015, Jordan moved to NYC to fulfill a 12 month contract with the GRAHAM COMPANY. After he returned to Las Vegas to continue his passion for choreographing and teaching.  Jordan is loved by every dance school in Vegas and is always on demand as he continues to seek art in every corner of the world to bring back and share!



Dempsey Ward

Beginning-Intermediate Contemporary & Modern

Born and raised in the Kansas City area, Dempsey Ward has always had a passion for dance. At ten years old, she began her classical training at the Legacy School of the Arts before continuing to gain her B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Conservatory of Music and Dance. She has attended several intensive programs including Joffrey Ballet School (on full scholarship), Alvin Ailey, Deeply Rooted, Ballet Austin and The Jillana School of Ballet.  She has worked with many noted choreographers such as Jamal Story, Gary Abbott, Sabrina Madison-Cannon, Paula Weber, DeeAnna Hiett, Ronald Tice, Bernard Gaddis and Rodni Williams. She has performed in several ballets, productions, concerts and festivals which include The American College Dance Festival Nationals, Kauffman Center for Performing Arts Grand Opening Gala, Kansas City Ballet and was a member of the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater. Dempsey is currently a full-time dancer, dancer educator,        model, photographer and is an adjudicator and teacher for the esteemed dance convention and competition company SHEER TALENT.
